FAITES DU BRUIT Collaborations: DR.FINK

Matthew Robert "Matt" Fink, better known by the stage name Doctor Fink, is an American keyboardist, record producer, and songwriter. He is most known as a member of The Revolution, the backing band for pop musician Prince. Fink won a Grammy Award in 1985 for the album Purple Rain. The recording has sold over 18 million copies since its release.

Protagonista di 3 dischi che anche chi non ama il folletto di Minneapolis (NdR: Roger 'Prince' Nelson) non può ignorare: Purple Rain (1984), Around The World in a Day (1985) e Parade (1986); questo senza contare l'introduzione nel doppio 1999 e che fu nella line-up delle performance live fin dal 1979!!!.
In realtà Fink collaborò con Prince fino al 1991 (con i primi New Power Generation .... per intenderci, quelli con cui ha collaborato NAIF in questi anni :)) tanto da essere richiamato per un concerto celebrativo nel 2000 a Minneapolis (per la famosissima long-jam America).
Altra perla degli anni passati in collaborazione con Prince fu la musica jazz-fusion rilasciata con il gruppo dei Madhouse.

Following his work with Prince, Fink built his own studio facility StarVu in Minneapolis and started working on many different things, from video game soundtracks to his own album in 2003, to working with K-tel. Doctor Fink also released his own Sony Acid Loop Library entitled Dr. Fink's Funk Factory.

In June 2007, Doctor Fink signed an exclusive worldwide management with Germany-based management and production-company Mozart & Friends. He is managed by Marc Mozart.

In a 2008 interview with Minneapolis' "Real Rube Radio", Fink implied he may have a new solo album somewhere in the near future. In the same interview, he mentions Prince possibly releasing the unreleased Revolution album, Roadhouse Garden. Also, when asked about a reunion with the Revolution, he said "...if he's [Prince] ready and willing, then so am I."

Quindi Matt Fink è in primis un musicista, ma anche un produttore ed arrangiatore .... è proprio in qualità di arrangiatore e musicista che lo troviamo nella collaborazione con la Nostra NAIF; il brano in cui è coinvolto (Keyboards & Sinth) è PARIS CITY.
